CP Roofing Solutions was proud to be named the UK winner of the Best of the Best award. CUPA PIZARRAS spoke with Director Chris Shaw about what the recognition means, the materials behind the work, and the current state of the roofing industry in Scotland.

Congratulations on winning Best of the Best – UK. How does this recognition feel, and what does it mean for CP Roofing Solutions?
Chris Shaw:
It’s a massive achievement for our company. We’re a small team of six competing against much larger firms across the UK, so to receive this recognition makes us extremely proud. It really reflects the standards we work to and the effort the whole team puts in on every project.

How would you describe your overall experience of taking part in the Best of the Best competition, and would you recommend other roofing companies get involved?
Chris Shaw:
It’s been an amazing experience from start to finish, and we’re very grateful for the opportunity. Since winning, we’ve seen an increase in enquiries and requests for quotes across a wide range of projects. I’d strongly encourage other companies to take part — it’s a great experience and well worth it.

Chris Shaw:

How would you describe the current state of the roofing industry in Scotland, and what trends are you seeing?
Chris Shaw:
The roofing industry in Scotland is in a really strong place right now. There are many high-quality companies taking pride in their work, which raises standards across the industry and pushes everyone to improve. It’s up to us to educate customers properly and provide the best service possible — overall, it’s a positive time for the trade.
